THE GOOD WINE  🍷

John 2:10

And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

Shalom brethren!

I wanna speak a little bit about

 "THE GOOD WINE" 

 As from our reference.. There's a norm that people are used to. There's a traditional practice of doing or handling things. 

Traditionally there are double standards. If not with economic aspect then age, if not age, then popularity, position/authority, gender, tribal, region/origin and any other phenomena that can be used to group people.

Have you ever walked to a parking with reservations? What about an event with seats reserved for so and so...

So let's go now..

1. At the beginning.•°••°•

 External appearance of something,. Before understanding the innermost characters of something/someone. 

Before getting into it

Before you start that ministry 

Before you start that behavior/lifestyle

Before you get into that crew of gamblers

Before you begin to pursue her/him

Before you start going for your dreams/purpose 

Every man at the beginning doth set good wine..

2. And when men have well drunk..° °•°•°•°

After you get what you thought you saw, or needed. After you've achieved getting her heart/his affection. 

After you've married her/him

After you've got into something you thought it was pleasant/ that would give you joy/peace/ pleasure 

When you've now come to a place of achievement

When you've now successfully managed your credits

When you've got all you wanted/prayed for.

3. Then that which is worse is brought°•°•°°••°•••

When the ups and downs arise a real character mist show up

When temptations rise some people astray from from the will of God.

Some forget or neglect the standards after achieving their goals. 

They don't offer the best service again.

No longer available in church service.

Not humble as in the beginning.. they've got what they wanted.

Not hardworking anymore

They are not ready to serve again, love again or cherish their spouses. They've arrived where they wanted to.

Now you're with the real person

With the original somebody

No more camouflages 

You can only see the true colors.

 

4. But thou hast kept the good wine until now. 🍷

What does keeping good wine until now mean? 

Maintaining the standards of..

Quality

Holiness 

Righteousness

Hard working

Love

Concern

Care

Humbleness

Wisdom

Humility

The outside you being the same as the inside you

Character etc...

Generally can we just conclude it as Taste/ Ever-tasty

Qn. How can this be achieved?

Here's a clear simple way to make it.

Jesus did a miracle He turned water into fine/good/standard wine.

What ever you need/you've been through in your life, just repent and pray this short powerful prayers with me. 

   Jesus, I believe that you are the son of God, and that you gave your life on the cross that I may have everlasting life. 

Please forgive all my sins and make me whole again.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Dear brethren. What you've done is now like filling  your water pots with water. Jesus is going to turn that water into fine-good wine. 

Be blessed as you live a life of testimonies in Jesus name.

THE HEART OF ENQUIRY

Greetings in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Today I want to share a word of God with the tittle, "THE HEART OF ENQUIRY" 

May we pray Before we begin. 

Father in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you for giving us this opportunity to share your word. Your word is life Dear God. May it reform our spirits to your will,  rekindle the fire in us, bring hope and revive the inner man. In the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit we pray. Amen.

2 Samwel 2:1 

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

Shall I go... Many are times that we move without permission but just because we think we can move. 

Sometimes we can really do it but sometimes the Lord has the best way to do it and its were we need to enquire. Basically we need to totally depend on Him. Enquiring is kind of submission onto the Lord. 

We don't willingly enquire unless we are able and ready to obey what He says. 

Enquiry is very important in times of great challenges.

As a servant of God, an ambassador of His Kingdom, a partaker of His Kingdom or a child of God, you really need a heart that asks from the Lord. 

∆ CHOICES

When you've got choices. But you really can't figure out which one should start. 

You can't win in battles by depending only on your understanding. It is impossible to make it by your own counsel. Unless the Spirit of God is advising you in the inside about something that is going on. 

You can begin this by letting your thoughts align with the word of God and the will of God. Easily will your actions prove and glorify God.

Victory

You get assurance of victory through enquiry... 

The heart of Enquiry give God the glory.
